The BASICS

Orchard Rush is a card game where 2-8 players try to grow their Orchards to gather points while sabotaging one another in the process. The core gameplay has players drawing cards from 3 decks that contain cards of different effects. Players start the game with 5 cards each.
Players choose on there turn which of up to 2 cards they would like to draw. The green deck (Orchard Deck), is where players draw their trees from to grow their farm. The brown deck (Soil Deck) contains upgrades for the players Orchard Cards. The red deck (Sabotage Deck), contains cards the players can use to effect one another. Once a turn rotation has occurred the player who went second goes first in the next turn rotation while the player who went first goes last.
To win the game a player must have 25 points and the end of a turn rotation or have the most points after 10 turn rotations have gone by.
Player Turns

Each Player rolls a D6 at the start of their turn and all trees at the end of the turn rotation that match the ANY die roll will produce points based on the type of tree they are. Players then draw any combination of up to 2 cards from any deck and may begin their turn. Players that draw 2 cards may only play one card that turn while players who drew only 1 card may play 2 cards that turn. When playing a card players may play Orchard cards to their board, Soil Cards to their Orchard cards, or sabotage cards to the specified target.
ORCHARD CARDS

Orchard cards are made up of 4 different types of trees. Each tree has a specific range in which it will produce points on a die roll. Meaning different trees are useful depending on the number of players in the game because of the likely hood of a specific number range being rolled.
Soil CARDS

Soil cards make up the games buffing cards. These buffs range from protecting your trees from being cutdown, fruit stolen, or increase general point output of likely hood of points being produces. Cards like Extra Hands are designed to do more for a player in a larger game by allowing points to be generated by each die rather than by a single die at the end of the turn. Which Soil cards players drew made up the majority of differences in player strategies during play testing.
Sabotage CARDS

Sabotage cards are the games player interaction. Each card allows the player to slow down one another’s progress towards winning the game. The ways in which these card affect player board states are quit varied. Some cards like Soil Sabotage directly remove bonuses from a player, while other cards like Blight slow down every player who is using a specific tree. Other examples of Sabotage cards specially take points produced by a individual tree that turn rather then being destructive to the other players board.
